About the Author

Charles Odwin , BS, RT, RDMS, is the former president of the New York State Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers. A recipient of the Publishing Excellence Award from the Journal of Diagnostic Medical Sonography , he teaches ultrasound to emergency department physicians and in ultrasound schools. He is also an artist whose illustrations appear ultrasound test books.
