She specialized in surgery in Naples (1986), and later in Diagnostic Radiology in Padua (1990). She is also a coordinator of training courses for Radiology technicians, as well as a Professor of Interventional Radiology at the University Federico II. Since 2021 she is the president of the Italian College of Interventional Radiology of Società Italiana di Radiologia Medica e Interventistica SIRM. She has authored more than 170 articles published in national and international journals, as well as several book chapters.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eFrancesco Giurazza works at the Vascular and Interventional Radiology Department, Cardarelli Hospital, Naples, Italy. Main fields of interest are embolization and oncological interventions. He specialized in Radiology in Rome in 2016. He accomplished a PhD in Biomedical Engineering in 2018. Holder of the European Board of Interventional Radiology (EBIR) since 2019. He has been Italian representative member of European Trainees Forum of Cardiovascular and Interventional RadiologySociety of Europe (CIRSE) and coordinator of the juniores Interventional Radiology section of Società Italiana di Radiologia Medica e Interventistica (SIRM). Since 2021 he is the secretary of the Italian College of Interventional Radiology of SIRM.
